  I just went on vacation but could not take my 9 pound Chihuahua so I had to leave him at a pet hotel for the first time ever. I was a little concerned because although he is a very happy and non nervous dog, he has not had too much experience around other dogs and is very connected to me. I should not have worried as now, I am unsure if he wanted to come home with me or stay there for a few more days.. I was also worried about worrying about him and dwelling on it for my whole vacation and that of my wife. Because of the Pet Places policy of sending daily picture and video of my pups playing with a group of other dogs, I was actually happy the whole time. It made me feel terrific to see him so happy and running around with his pals. I did not feel an ounce of guilt for leaving him at a strange place and was very proud to see him having such a great time. The other fabulous thing about the Pet Place was the place itself. His little room was like a little hotel room with a raised bed and they even set up his blanket and toys arranged on his bed before he entered. The dogs got to walk around the building freely and had a large and inviting outside garden for them to run around in. The owner (who's name I forget) gave him plenty of love and it seemed to me that my dog was her favorite but I think she shows all the dog a lot of love. I actually look forward now to going out of town so he can go back to his summer camp which he is sure to remember when he sees it again. I am also considering just taking him for a day or two just for special occasions.

  The best day care and hotel service for pets in Panama. Dogs are able to play in the backyard and socialize with other dogs instead of only being indoors (like other day care/hotels we've looked). Our dog gets crazy when we say "PetPlace"! No kidding. He loves it!!!
