  Wifi deberia ser GRATIS , todo carisimo en dolares, restrooms inmundos sucios, aire acondicionado funciona solo en algunas partes de la sala de espera y hay un OLOR A FRITO tan asqueroso que no se puede creer. Deberian mejorarlo!!!

  Panama City is beautiful. The landscape is breathtaking. Tocumen International Airport a little small. People are nice can’t complain

  Flying into Panama City is beautiful, as the landscape is breathtaking. The city has many charms and the only reason I would readily fly into Tocumen would be staying a few days there. Otherwise, for connections, PTY tops the list of my "Avoid at all costs" airports. The only reason I find myself here after almost a decade is because the only flight I could find at a few hour's notice went through Tocumen. Tough luck. Otherwise, I steer clear. Reasons why: Aside from some stores, there is nothing here. Very few meal options, with little to no seating and invariably terrible service. If you have a long layover between connections, there are 0 options to rest, besides going out to a nearby hotel. (No in-location hotel or sleeping pods) The A/C is erratic, and it can get very hot in some areas. And if you do decide to shop, you may find that if your purchase is not above a certain amount you get a "cash only" (in an international airport!). In other cases basic stuff is way overpriced. The internet is a disaster. This airport hasn't improved at all in 10 years. They really need to step up their game if they expect to live up to being "the Hub of the Americas "

  This a very small, rectangular shape airport. It's open 24/7 since this airport is used mostly for connecting flight. If you fly in in the middle of the night though, expect one or two stores open for food. They have Wi-Fi available, but the first 30 minutes is free. After that, you have to pay. All international flights are depart from the same gate usually. There's nothing really special about this airport. People are decent here. Not that helpful.

  Very nice airport, but the air seemed to be unregulated as some areas were very cold and other areas were a little warm. I was a little surprised by how many shopping stores there were, but it would be good for someone wanting to shop on a layover it waiting for their flight. Food court had good options, but there was very limited seating in the main area. There's a lot of pockets of hidden seating that's open so keep your eyes out for that. Loved this beautiful/powerful art they had in the airport! See pictures.
