::Faster than the traffic jam

::Get off at this station if you want to walk to Old Town. This is our second trip to Panama and we use to take taxis to Old Town. Never again. The Metro costs us 35 cents per person and it's quick and fast. When we arrive here we head toward the raised expressway and then turn left towards Central Avenue. It's the road that is full of stores. If you keep walking this way you will eventually hit Old Town. Along the walk you will find some American treats like McDonalds, Wendy's, Dominos and KFC but we eat with the locals. At the end of this street you will see the Cafe Coca Cola. This is our local jam. Great local food has been served here for over 143 years. Teddy Roosevelt even ate here and he's a rough rider. Please don't let people scare you about walking here. It's not bad at all. Just don't go here at midnight. Come in the day time. The stores are amazing. The clothes shopping is incredible. You won't believe the deals. So get out there and enjoy the Metro. It's the way to get around the city.

::Easy access to the shopping areas La Central and Calidonia. Both areas maintain their old Panamanian style. No fancy stores or shopping malls here but so much more atmosphere.

::Good stop to get to the Panama Vieja and Seafood Market.

::It's nearby a very poor place. So you have to be careful
