  About a dozen years ago Global Bank advertised that every one of their branches had an English-speaking person to wait on you if you didn't speak Spanish. They published brochures and distributed them all over. I took them at their word and contacted the Santiago branch. Nobody there spoke English. I had to take a translator with me to get anything done. But getting anything done without a translator with you proved difficult. The bank manager was supposed to fax me a form for transferring money but decided that his records showed a better area code than the one I gave him and it took two weeks to figure out what he was doing wrong. I finally gave up and found the Penenome branch actually had two people who spoke English and I wound up setting up my account there instead, even though I was to live in Santiago. That always pissed the people off in Santiago, but I had no choice. Other than that, I'd give the bank 5 stars. I have my home mortgage with them and the person I dealt with went above and beyond to get me a loan and everybody I deal with now is as friendly and helpful as can be. Even the manager shakes my hand when he sees me in the bank. And they aren't that crowded on paydays like Banco National and Banco General are when you can't even find where the line begins. All in all, I've had a good experience with Global except for right at the start.

  Mejor local que tiene este banco comparado al anterior. El autobanco facilita lostramites en apuros.

  This is a really good bank but I don't like cause the proper are bad. And always angry
