::Once in Panama, this is a MUST visit place. Here’s the whole story of how they build the canal back in the day. There’s some cool stuff in the museum like a ship simulator while crossing the canal.

::Well worth the $10. We also rented the headset ($3) to listen and learn in English (it comes in many languages). This was helpful most of the museum descriptions are in Spanish. Loved the museum and learned a lot!

::If you like to read the display, you will need to allow additional time to cover this four-level museum. It was more than expected. Visitors $15, locals $3. There is also a 10-minute movie. South bound ships arrived at the locks shortly after 3 pm. The covered observation deck is well positioned, but was very crowded and two to three deep at the rail. If you are tall, you can still have good photos over the heads of others. See attached.
