  Definitely worth it, saw 3 or 4 quetzals and many other varieties of birds. There's a tree that's almost 1000 years old. Entrance fee is $3 and you can buy water and snacks at the entrance.

  Great hike. We saw two quetzals at 2 km mark.

  Directions: From the main park in Boquete keep walking north to a mini super called "S/C Bruña", there you´ll see a bunch of mini buses. The one I took said "Alto Quiel Bajo Mono". $1.75-$2 one way. About 30 mnts. Tell the driver to which trail you're going.. but there's really no way to miss your stop. Entrance fee $3.00. Took me about 1.5h with no rush and a lot of talking in the way. Is not difficult. The path to follow is really clear. Don't confuse this trail with the "Lost Waterfalls" one. This one in spanish is called "Cascada Escondida", which confused me and has nothing to do with the english name.
