::I had a good experience renting from Sixt. The staff were all very helpful and everything was great. We were upgraded to a larger sedan which was also nice. Be aware that if you don't take the insurance they take a $5000 deposit on your credit card - this is standard in Panama I believe and since we returned the car without any damage there were no issues with this. 3rd party insurance is also mandatory in Panama, but the collision insurance is NOT, and your credit card probably covers this, so be sure to check despite what the Sixt staff may say (they want you to buy all the insurance, of course). I will rent from this location again.

::I foolishly ignored the reviews thinking that I would email to insure no problems. Reserved months in advance and they didn't have my car, even though the Sixt app says it's waiting for me as I'm standing at the counter. Being Sixt Platinum has its perks. I emailed to confirm insurance and deposits, which was to be $5000, but when they gave me a different car from what I had reserved, the deposit dropped to $2000, so I guess that's a plus? I chose this location for its convenience to my hotel, but in the future, I would use a different company, even taking an Uber to the airport for a better selection. You've been warned.
