::I wouldn't say this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. I've eaten Mexican food in Pilsen Chicago, OldTown San Diego and Mexico City to name a few. These three cities have very authentic Mexican food. If I compare the food here to those cities then the food here is not that great. If you've ever eaten authentic Mexican in any of those cities then don't expect the food here to taste anything like authentic Mexican food. Reviews say the service is bad but we didn't experience that. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we got everything we wanted. When I got my final bill she didn't add on the tip because she wanted the cash. She rang it up my credit card without even adding the tip. She then just looked at me like I had made a mistake. I still tipped her in cash but I wasn't happy. Prior to her little tip game the service was all good. In fact, it was the fastest we've ever gotten our food in two weeks in Panama City. The restaurant provides a free appetizer. It was a nice thought but sometimes thoughts are best left unsaid. It's literally one tablespoon of avocado salsa, one tablespoon of salsa verde and one tablespoon of pico de gallo along with literally 10 tiny cracked tortilla chips. Imagine the bottom of your chip bag and serving all the cracked chips into a tiny bowl. I know it's a free dish but it's really pathetic. We started with the melted cheese. It was a little bland so I dumped the free pico into the cheese to try to give it some flavor. The queso was just okay but I'd never order this dish again. The steak tacos were incredibly dry. It was like someone gave us tasteless beef jerky tacos. It was a bad taco and lacked any real flavor. It needs something juicy on here like salsa. My wife used the tablespoon of free salsa verde to give her taco some flavor. Our little one had the chicken soup and it was the best thing we ordered. My wife and I were having chicken soup envy. My little one did point out that the soup didn't look anything like the photo in the menu. She's very observant and was a little let down it didn't look like the photo. We also got the four chicken burritos. I actually liked these because they were juicy. The burritos had refried beans and guacamole wrapped inside giving the dish moisture. My wife hated these because there were really salty. This was my favorite thing here. The atmosphere of the location feels fun. Some tables are located in the restaurant and some are located in the walk way of the shopping mall. This is probably the nicest restaurant in the MetroMall. It does have table service, so you don't feel like you're in the food court. There are plenty of food options in the mall but most of them are fast food. I'm not sure I would ever eat here again though.
